Was Gadhafi the problem of Libya?

Before the ousting of Gadhafi the late president of Libya, evidence and proofs were brought faward
to show that he was a dictator and a bad leader and he was the cause of poor living conditions in
Libya.
Today, after not only being ousted but dead, peace is not still reigning in Libya. Things only seems
worst than during his regime. It had pushed me to ask this question of if he was really a problem?
during his ousting and now, more people had died than during his reign and more are still going to
die because of more rebels and conflicts coming up.Are people living now better than during his
regime? can the western world not use weapons to stop the rebels like they did to oust Gadhafi? i
think people may have more points to clarify this situation. Can you share your views.

I'm not saying I know, but from what little I've read it seems that the world has been told a lot of
lies about Gadhafi.
Things I have read:
1)Libya was one of the poorest nations before Gadhafi ruled it.
2)Education and medical care was free during his reign.
3)Personal loan interest rates were zero%.
4)Each couple got $5,000 as a wedding gift from the Govt of Libya.
5)Housing was quite affordable.
6)If a Libyan bought a new car the Government paid half. All during his reign.
Doesn't sound like a terrible place to me. Libya was one of the few countries that WAS debt free and
was not under the Rothschild banking cartel.
I personally saw a video of Gadhafi riding in an open utility car through the streets of Tripoli.
All the people were cheering him and anyone could have shot him if they tried.
I think the western media has told a lot of lies!!
