Stop PMU Farms and End Horse Slaughter

Please help in stopping the unnecessary slaughtering of American horses! PMU farms are overbreeding
mares for their urine. The drug industry relies on it to make the drugs “Premarin and Prempro”.
Once there done with the mares after about 7 years they send them to slaughter along with the
foals.
Please sign my petition to stop this!

How could we see the beautiful and helpless eyes of a horse and have the courage to kill and eat it.
What is the difference between us and wild wild creatures?

I hope nations' authorities consult the environmentalists more and more. It seems the population of
animals shall be regulated so that Co2 comes to a balance. Doing that, growth and use of vegetation
seems more useful than meat used animals.

I agree it is wrong to dehydrate these horses just for their urine, and even worse to slaughter
foals because they are of no use anymore.
But how is slaughtering a horse, then eatings its meat, any different from slaughtering a sheep or a
little lamb then eating its meat? Because due the usefullness of horses in the past, for
transportation and work, we feel more attached to horses?
In many countries it is traditional to eat horse meat! However thats a different debate.
Pharmaceutical companies should find alternative ways to produce the drug without lowering the
quality of life of the animal they get it from.

Horse is different from the animals used in the normal Ind-European eating habits.Horse is
considered a bright and brave animal used in transportation, wars and sports. Also considered friend
of human being like dogs due to brightness.
