I think birthdays are geared toward happiness. I birthday is the time of the year where that day is all about you. It is another year of ageing and living.

Birthdays are consider happiness because each year someone see, begins a new chapter in their life. Birthday celebrations such as "Sweet 16" are important in a teenagers life. There will be some birthday that may cause sadness, but most are consider "happiness." It's a time to celebrate! smile

Birthdays are for both happiness, and reflection! Your reflecting on your experiences and achievements in the previous years of your life. Your also celebrating and preparing for the new ones.

Mixed feelings, on one hand , sadness of getting old and realization that lots of dreams yet to fulfill, on other hand, excitement and happiness on hearing from friends and family and celebrating with them smile

An important phenomena of the nature provided with about 280 days of patience and love of a mother. Why not be happy?

I always think of birthdays as both a sad and happy event. Birthdays are happy because it is a reminder that you have lived another year, and hopefully learned and grown as a person within that time. However, they are also a reminder that time passes by so quickly, and sometimes it can be easy to take the time have for granted.

Birthdays are supposed to be days filled with happiness, even if you are celebrating your 18th or 80th birthday! It shows that you’ve lived another year, got to see more extraordinary sights, and learned some new things. Birthdays are happy times in which we celebrate all the wonderful and not so wonderful things that have happened in our lives in that year. Birthdays aren’t for sadness, and the number of birthdays you have doesn’t determine the years that you will live. You could randomly die on any day in any year, so be happy about your birthday for seeing another day. If you get sad about the future you will never be able to live your life fully in the present.

Off course Birthday are meant to be celebrated with good zeal & enthusiasm. Why to feel sad with growing age. Which cannot be averted at any case. So be spontaneous on self birthday & enjoy the day with full spirit.

Happiness; it calls for celebration. Time should not change the feelings you have toward birthdays because life is a cycle meant to be gone through
