Is the councelation of Foreign debt the solution to African economy

Long before now I used to doubt how a nation full of natural resources is the most indebted in the world.
The leaders are now trying to say that the international debts are causing the situation of low standard of leaving.
Can the conciliation of our foreign debts be the solution to African economy and lead to the increase in the living standard? If not why should African leaders and countries pretend to be improving in living conditions? What is then difficult to the western world to counsel out debts if they are really willing to improve on the living standards of the poor nations? Is it really just that African has a lot of debts which cannot be counseled but they still keep sending aid to Africa?

cancellation of one foreign debt will only leads to incurring of another foreign debt just like the case in Nigeria. The west are Afrika's intimate enemy, they are corroborators with our corrupt leaders to rub us naked, Afrika is a creeppled continent we are helpless we have been beaten to a stage where we find it very hard to protest bad govt. And thinking the west are our friend is our greatest mistake.

well, just thinking, if you were a millionaire, and someone borrow you 10k, time goes by and each year you gain the same amount money of benefit from that debt, would you ever conceal it?
