Hello everyone!
My names Tevah Jones, im 20 and i live in Southern Oregon, US.
I'm studying Ecology in school and once I complete my first 2 years in community college, I plan to
go continue studying in Trinidad, where I am a citizen and tuition is non-existent for citizens.
I want to hear from people on how they feel about this issue:
I want to become more active in protecting what is left of the natural environment and ecosystems
that ive come to love so much. The landscape is beautiful here in Oregon, as it is in many other
states in America, but not all. I feel a sense of duty to protect the enviroment of my country here
that ive grown up in, but stacked next to other parts of the world, I feel there is little to
protect here. What remains of the wildlife does not spark passion in me...i've talked to other
student pursuing the same goals and we came to the same conclusion: I want to be around crazy-ass
animals like howler monkeys and megasloths, you know.. exotic stuff. But what if all the passionate
ones leave america for the jungle, it will sure be doomed. is it already doomed?

I don't think it's already doomed, we just need to remember there is wildlife and nature in your
back yard that needs protecting and preserving as well as wildlife and nature out in the jungles

We don't believe it is currently condemned, all of us simply need to keep in mind there's animals as
well as character inside your backyard that requires safeguarding as well as protecting in addition
to animals as well as character away within the jungles.
