Critical Challenges Assessment Project Update (with 28 selected links)
December 24, 2011 - 01:13 PM

Work-in-Progress Update (with 28 selected links)
for “IPCR Critical Challenges Assessment 2011” Project

Since July (2011), the main focus of The IPCR Initiative has been on compiling evidence and creating draft versions of a document to be titled “IPCR Critical Challenges Assessment 2011-2012” (as the project is carrying into 2012). There is an IPCR webpage for this project , which makes accessible draft versions of sections--and posts introducing those drafts--and that webpage can be accessed by way of this link , or http://www.ipcri.net/Critical-Challenges-Assessment.html (both links go to the same IPCR webpage).

This writer hopes that visitors to that IPCR webpage who glance at the current Table of Contents for this project will agree that some very critical decisions will be made in the months and years ahead—and also agree that if they assist this project (or ones similar to this) with comments, suggestions, and recommendations, such assistance can help much with “reframing public discourse”.

This post briefly describes a “Work-in-Progress Update” on that “Critical Challenges Assessment” Project. The complete title of the document is “Work-in-Progress Update (with 28 selected links) (for “IPCR Critical Challenges Assessment 2011” Project)”.

The contents for the “Work-in-Progress Update” are as follows:

I. Link to IPCR Initiative webpage for “Critical Challenges Assessment” Project
II. Link to Current Introduction for “Critical Challenges Assessment”
III. 28 Selected Links (to articles, etc. which are source material for assessment conclusions)
IV. A List of 17 Propositions and Premises which are at the foundation of The IPCR Initiative
V. The IPCR Initiative “Constellation of Initiatives” Approach to Accelerating Solution-Oriented Activity—4 documents
VI. Next Draft (Section #6 “A Multi-Angle View of the Debt Crises”) (Coming Soon) will offer most comprehensive “Big Picture” assessment yet

Appendix—Current “Table of Contents” for “IPCR Critical Challenges Assessment 2011”
(which is a ten point list of critical challenges, seen by this writer as the most difficult challenges ahead)

The 28 selected links section is an effort to highlight and emphasize that—although it is difficult for most people to sort through the complexity of the challenges ahead—there are many critical challenges happening simultaneously now, which amount to “many dangers signs flashing”. This writer believes that readers who can appreciate the full dimensions of the challenges ahead will understand the urgency and necessity of developing, promoting, and accelerating solution-oriented activity.

I have posted a pdf file of the 10 page “Work-in-Progress Update” in the IPCR “Highlights” section (at http://www.ipcri.net/Highlights-from-IPCR-and-other-locations.html ), at my “Collected Writings” website (at http://writingsofstefanpasti.net/2010-.html ), and at my resource offerings page at scribd.com (see http://www.scribd.com/StefanPasti ).

The link for the pdf file at the IPCR Initiative website is http://www.ipcri.net/Critical_Challenges_Project_Update_with_links.pdf

I hope this “Work-in-Progress Update” is helpful to readers, and I encourage comments, suggestions, questions, and recommendations, so that The IPCR Initiative can learn and adjust, and thus provide as much assistance as possible in these challenging times.

With Kind Regards,

Stefan Pasti, Founder and Outreach Coordinator
The Interfaith Peacebuilding and Community Revitalization (IPCR) Initiative
