How "GREEN" are we?
December 14, 2011 - 08:26 PM

As we dig around inside the twenty first century the words "green" and "innovation" seem to be popping up everywhere. Competitions, grants and businesses are all geared towards those two words. As we fight to conserve our future I'm proud to see American culture doing SOMETHING. While investigating the innovative side of green we (my college buddies) came across a new service which measures how "green" we are?
As environmentally conscious people ourselves we wanted more opinions...
Do we want to know how "green" we are?
Are we interested in understanding how "green" we are inside a green measurement system?
Will we want to improve our "green score"?

As we are talking about 'green' then really its a burning issue to discuss.Due to increased pollution there is a great change in environmental condition which is responsible for major ecological problems.we the human beings are responsible for all these mishappenings. so we have to wake up and try to do that can us away from major disaster. Work at home is one of the factor through which somehow we can move towards being green. So think over this this is really required at this level.

Business that makes the decision to be environmentally conscious will often promotes goodwill among potential customers, while making the world a better place for future generations. Going green at work is basically about being economical by reducing consumption, reusing to avoid wastage, and recycling old into new. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- online payday loan | payday loans Utah

yes recycling the thing is important like using the dried fallen trees leafs for farming like mixing it into soil rather than burning which is not good for health and environment also. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dental Marketing

Yes, I think people would be interested to know their "green score." I have tried some of the Footprint calculators online, but they are either too simple or too complicated. Not many people will take the trouble to add up their utility bills to try to figure out their energy usage. People also have a tendency to fudge their own greenness, so I don't know how accurate these measurement systems are.
Maybe when we finally have smart grids, people will get a green score on their home computer. Until then, we just have to do our best to live greener: bicycle, garden, compost, etc.

Thanks for giving a straight forward answer. No offence but it's hard to understand exactly where everyone else is coming from according to what we asked.

I think you have run into a problem with international forums. Everyone's grasp of English varies. One has to make it very clear in simple English what one is asking. It might be a good idea to put your questions at the beginning of your post or even in the title, i.e., "Do you want to know your Green score?". Some people's attention span might weaken as a post gets longer.
