Ideally, teens don't believe they can become infected with HIV. But today in the United States, teens age 13 to 29 now account for the growing infection rate.
Even worse, many living with HIV don't know it. And sadly, many that do know they are infected, do not disclose.
Therefore, if you are in a relationship, please use a condom before indulging in sexual activity. And if you can avoid sex all together, do so. After all, it could save your life in the long run.
Take it from, I trusted someone I thought was fine and uninfected. Guess what, I'm HIV positive.

 my name is pam & im a 23 year old female, working for PSH as a peer advisor. i admire your courage t talk openly about your status bcoz hiv/aids affects everyone so its not to b taken lightly... your future depends on you making the right CHOICE!
