Its more like multitasking; I do some exercise and read over my notes at the same time. I find I personally focus better that way.

I like reading at any convinent point...moving about with sheets of reading materials or sheets of prints from the main book can help one digest a topic pretty well

It's a lot more like multitasking; I actually do a few physical exercise as well as review my personal information simultaneously. We discover Personally, i concentrate much better this way.

flash cards are a great way to study! it makes it like a game!

Also, some studies show that using a white board results in increased information retention! Could be worth a try!

My personal way of studying is repetition. I write notes, read them and re-write them again. I also try to explain what I am learning to my friends, parents, or anyone who will listen. Because you're more likely to remember something if you understand it and can expalin it in your own words! <-- this isn't neccesarily fun, but it's how I learn best!

hope that helps!

I like to read out loud as I re-write my notes. I find that when I am reading out loud I am more focused on the material instead of just having my hands writing and my mind being somewhere else. To add more fun to it, try reading in different tones and accents. I can't do that though because I always just burst out laughing.

Studying in blocks of time also works for me. I usually study a section of my notes or set a time limit, and when I reach that limit I get up and move around for a while before starting another block. During final exam weeks I also get a cake at the beginning and have a slice each day as a reward for working hard. It's quite satisfying!

Theres lots of ways i find useful
- making flash cards
- making a mini 'game' like matching definitions to words, trying to sort facts etc (it depends what subject). You can play it again and again until you remember all the information.
- making a song or poem (depends how good at this you are)or just change the lyrics of an existing song
- making a rap and try singing it to the backing music of your favourite song
- draw pictures of what you are trying to study, with no words

Hope this helps!

Hi,
There are many fun ways to study. The best way is to relax yourself and then study. One should never study under pressure.

Yes, there is a fun way too study. Gather all your friends, invite them to your home and you all can study together. Take turns reading and answering questions. Have snacks for everybody to munch on. Have a little music playing. And study for about two hours.

There is really not a fun way to study. Studying is really kinda boring. The most i ever did during studying was being on the phone and listening to music. But your either studying or not !

Yes!It is a pretty good discussion for the students. Actually students think that "Study? You can't make it fun anyway!" Indeed, there are so many ways to have fun as you study. You don't need to study all the time or hum! big grin You know this word "work like a beaver!" stick
out tongue Do you know learning styles? Everyone learns through different perspectives or styles. For instance, you can be a visual learner.(a person who learns through seeing). Or you can be an auditory learner.(learning through listening). The 3rd option is that you can be a tactile/kinesthetic learner.(learning through moving, doing and touching).
Learning styles make people diligent and willing to study or learn.
I read an article a few days ago about this issue. Check this out to form a judgement about how to have fun while studying!wink

Of course, i have fun ways to study such as game cards, puzzles, etc.
While i'm studying a foreign language, i sometimes make game cards. On one side, the Turkish mean of the word exists, and on the other side for foreign language of the word exists. In this way, both i'm learning a foreign language and ı have fun. And also, i'm listening to the foreign music for language. And again it is funny amd instructive.
While i'm studying my school subjects, such as Geography, i'm using the map. İt is both informative and funny. Sometimes i play with my friends such as finding a country or a city from the map.
For numeric courses, i'm studying without fun because they're pretty difficult. But yet i enjoy these courses. smile
