Battle of Tarawa 60th Anniversaries in celebration

On the 20 th day of November, 2003 the Marines from USS Hopper came to the islet of Betio to honour their Men during the toughest battle in the second world war. His excellency, the US Ambassor stayed in suva Fiji arrived in Tarawa to mark the day. Peace Corps office had organised the day.
Tomorrow, the people of Betio will hos the special for the day after than everybody will be dispersed including the Navy. I will be in the lunch in my capacity as the elected Councilor to the Betio Town Council.
