i have seen a lot of video proving that he was captured alive. In my own opinion, NTC troops had instructions or terms of reference if they catch a big fish, so why is it that the troops could not protect Gadaffi?I would have loved seing him in court screaming 'my people love me'. Just being funny...

There's a saying, "Those who live by the sword, die by the sword." I think if Gadaffi had survived and been sent to the Hague, we would have had to watch as he ranted against "Western" justice. He would probably have been able to create a lot of mischief from jail. Who knows how many billions of dollars he has hidden somewhere. I think what happened to him was understandable, given the atrocities he committed against the Libyan people. I hope Assad in Syria and Saleh in Yemen were watching those videos carefully. They will probably get the same treatment, if they don't leave while they can.
