Register for 2001 Global Call to Action against Poverty

Over the past year, we have all been taking actions and telling political decision makers about The World We Want. This year, on October 15th-17th, The World We Want report will be launched, as well as a wide range of national actions to mark the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, as well as Rural Women's Day and World Food Day. In 2010, the UN held a 10-year review of progress towards the Millennium Development Goals. We presented political decision makers at the national, regional, and global levels with emergency plans to meet and exceed the MDGs by 2015. Since then, we have been tracking progress, and holding leaders to account for their commitments. This year on October 17th, we will once again come together with diverse actions, public mobilisation, and targeted advocacy to tell our leaders how to create the world we want. Coalitions around the world will be launching The World We Want report, and taking a wide variety of other actions, from concerts to letter writing campaigns, to tree planting, to rallies. Please let us know your plans by filling in the online form with your information; we will use this in communications, and in promoting the World We Want to global leaders.
