Should America Ban outsourcing

In view of the currently unemployment figures, should the US consider a ban on outsourcing ? Should the ban be taken up by other western nations ?

I think a ban on outsourcing is impossible, as many people in the U.S are used to having high wages and a high standard of living. Conversely, multinational corporations are only driven by financial profits and from the added value from cheap labor from low cost countries. However, there is a growing trend to go back to "good cost countries" (i.e. a bit more expensive labor force but better quality overall).
Anyway I don't think this form a protectionism you suggest is not even thinkable in the U.S. unless people are willing to accept much lower salaries.

Absolutely not, you know i always find a America's interests in global trade as biased. like in my country Uganda this is one of the methods the government is using to fight unemployment. i think they want to frustrate development in developing countries

I think US should not take action to close Outsourcing. If the y take take most of people will harassed.
