Microvolunteering in schools
June 18, 2011 - 12:29 PM

Help From Home promotes and encourages people to participate in easy, no commitment bite sized microvolunteering actions that take between 1 - 30 minutes to complete. It primarily promotes this concept to people within their homes, but has now expanded this remit to include schools.

We would therefore like to announce our new project called Help From School, that enables students to learn responsible citizenship via microvolunteering actions.

We hope that teachers will take a look at our Free Teachers Resource Pack and encourage youth to benefit worthy causes within their class lessons. Uniquely, we believe, students can put their studies into practice by actually microvolunteering within the class lesson. Try doing that with traditional volunteering!
