Digital Divide - Words of Wisdom!

Check this out!
"This is a special moment in the world's potential for transition to a truly democratic information age ...If we cannot ensure that this global revolution creates a worlwide information society in which everyone has a stake and can play a part, then it will not have been a revolution at all". (President Nelson Mendela's declaration in a speech to TELECOM '95)
Insperational words, from a wise man! Anyone have any thoughts on this? Better yet, do you have any more words of wisdom pertaining to equality and the information age? Let's inspire people the share knowledge, and share it ourselves! (Any way we can.)
Cheers!

We gain information on the internet, nut if not everybody is a part of it are we getting the whole story. I think that the whole story is much bigger than imaginable. So is it really possible to be accurate when there is are infinate sides to the story?

J Cotes,
My Bishop, Dr. David Oyedepo says; "Information is the currency of destiny. To be informed is to be transformed, and to be uniformed is to be deformed. If you do not update you will be outdated" Africa's reformation is tied to information he goes on!
That is why I have placed such a premium on knowledge in my field of endeavour. I believe that the solution to Africa's economic dearth does not lie in donor funds and loans but in empowering the continent with knowledge. Knowledge is what empowers!
