Hi Alex! As always, your ability to be so well informed amazes me! You are so right about everything! The media is controlled by a few large corporations and the government. No one but them gets profit from the media.
The media is tool for those mentioned above to influence viewers. The media conforms us to a singular way of behaving and thinking. I don't appreciate this. Thank you for posting!

I absolutely believe that the government and big companies use the media to their advantage, why wouldn't they? It's the easiest way to draw people in, someone is always going to be watching. Speaking on behalf of myself, I know how easy it is to get drawn into thing being presented in the media. We are convinced by the media that we 'need' certain things in life, so seeing it repeatedly, almost everyday, these things become the norm for us.

No. They are very good at influencing how we think and what we buy but they do not control our minds.
You have to think to yourself is this what I really want? before buying or voting or whatever. That way it is you who makes the decisions.
