The International Network of Missing Children and Adults (INMCA) are looking young people to help share there missing children and adult alerts with there internet friends and any other media sources or social networks that we may not know about.
Just a few facts about missing children.
Missing children
Missing children include divergent types of disappearances, including parental abductions, runaways, the disappearance of unaccompanied migrant minors, criminal abductions and lost, injured or otherwise missing children.
In the UK (population: 61 MIO) it is estimated that 140 000 cases of missing children are reported annually (383/day). This covers all reports, not only the cases treated by Missing Children Europe’s Member Missing People (see below).
In Belgium (population 10,5 MIO): Missing Children Europe’s member Child Focus opens an average of 4 new cases a day.
In the USA: of 621 child abductions which ended in murder, 44% of the children were killed within the first hours, 74% were killed within 3 hours and 91% within 24 hours after the disappearance.
Sexually exploited children
The sexual exploitation and abuse of children comprise at least the following categories: sexual abuse or assault, child prostitution, child pornography, child trafficking for sexual purposes and grooming (solicitation of children).
39% of child abuse images, the possession of which led to arrests in the US in 2000 & 2001, concerned children between ages 3-5, 19% concerned children below 3 (source: NCMEC).
In 2003, the National Criminal Intelligence Service in the United Kingdom estimated that child-pornography web sites had doubled worldwide.
In 2007, there was a 16.4% rise in child abuse images reports processed by the Internet Watch Foundation hotline in the UK compared to the same period in 2006.
While victims are increasingly younger, the abuse is proving to become increasingly more violent.
FBI figures
As of December 31, 2010, NCIC contained 85,820 active missing person records. Juveniles under the age of 18 account for 38,505 (44.9 percent) of the records and 10,248 (11.9 percent) were for juveniles between the ages of 18 and 20. *
During 2010, 692,944 missing person records were entered into NCIC, a decrease of 3.7 percent from the 719,558 records entered in 2009. Missing person records cleared or canceled during the same period totaled 703,316. Reasons for these removals include: a law enforcement agency located the subject; the individual returned home; or the record had to be removed by the entering agency due to a determination that the record was invalid.
The Missing Person Circumstances (MPC) field is optional and has been available since July 1999 when the NCIC 2000 upgrade became operational. Of the 692,944 records entered in 2010, the MPC field was utilized in 322,598 (46.6 percent). When the MPC field was utilized in 2010 entries, 312,710 (96.9 percent) were coded as Runaway, 2,577 (0.8 percent) as Abducted by Non-Custodial Parent, 367 (0.1 percent) as Abducted by Stranger, and 6,944 (2.2 percent) as Adult—Federally Required Entry. In 2009, the MPC field was utilized in 307,672 (42.8 percent) of the 719,55

Does INMCA notice the large number of missing children and adults in Baluchistan (Pakistan)? Its been an International issue but no practical measures are taken by any of the organization. Missing ones are later killed brutally.
