I have heard a lot about Social Media promotion, but I am unsure about its impact on your promotional campaigns.
Do let me know if anyone has tried this social media promotion and whether there was any success.

Social media relations can be very beneficial to promotional campaigns. I work a lot with PR clients and I've only seen positive impacts on Social media strategies.
Social media not only enables you to communicate your message to people, but also receive feedback and input from your followers. You are able to create a community and manage a effective and positive relationship with your follower base.
If you need any help, let me know!

Well the promotion of social media can work both ways, positively and negatively. One hand it serves as an effective way of communication, it informs people of worldly events, and valuable information. On the other hand, social media promotion can lend itself to propaganda, which is often used in western culture as a means of deception for the customers or targeted population to believe a certain thing.

I agree with Jason. Traditional PRs used to be a good way of letting audiences know about your organization/products (and still is), but now more than ever social media, and other online promotion, is the quickly become a dominant/main form of media information. Typical PRs can be lengthy for your audience (say, your regular everyday customer), but a Facebook status or Tweet can be kept short and sweet, but with enough information so your audience knows what you're promoting.
It's a great way of PR and promotional marketing, as long as it's relevant to your target audience and not spammy.

Hi,
Social media allows you to build a dynamic community that can become your regular website visitors or more ideally, your loyal clients. It brings you closer to the people who require your website, products, and line of business the most.
Thanks
