The specificity of who is the woman determines whether is or is not loved,for example a husband may love his wife or may not,a son may love his mother, a mother/ may love their daughter, so there is the degree of love and it is from the contexts, and so women are realy loved.

Men for now cannot give birth...So technically women did not come from men ,rather all men are born out of women.
A woman like any man, should be loved and respected if she deserves to be loved... A cruel man does not deserved to be respected/loved and that goes for women out there too.
However, women have been and even now discriminated against almost everywhere in one way or the other. Though born equal , they are made to face situations where they are treated as inferior...
Times are changing, mindsets are changing, and with positive efforts, I surely hope equal opportunities shall be extended to women in every sphere.
