Children of war
January 1, 2011 - 02:49 PM

I've seen on youtube o story of a boy that was justt 12 years old ,when the rebels came in his village in Sierra Leone, and took him. He was drugged and forced to entry in the people's houses and cut their hands of,or if they didn't want it,to kill them.

He said that every night he have nightmares, and that is always thinking on the people that he killed or wounded.

Do you think that this child could ever live a normal life?

He'll never have a normal life, but it wasnt his fault. he was forced to do it.. its the people who made him do it that should take all the guilt and be responsible for the lives lost in his actions. They caused him to act when he was threatened with death, and he only responded as any child would in this situation.

children are often the victims of armed conflicts. South Africa faces the terrible situation where thousands of kids are forced into labour . it's frustrating

it would be very difficult for a mature man ,rather a child . Killing a human isn't an easy affair that somebody can deal with
i think this child will suffer the whole rest of his life because he can never get rid of those though memories .

that's a very sad story but thanks god its a story and it had not happen with any boy in real. Any one who have gone through this phase will not be able to leave a normal life.
