Daniel, I just double-checked the Burning Season link. I am still able to watch it. Perhaps it is
a setting with your browser. Let me know if you still have trouble.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
------- The time to act is NOW. For
the orangutans, for the global climate, and for the rural people that have depended on these forests
for generations. Please, help me help them by
watching this brief video, and thank you!

This is a very unique perspective on what Willie Smits is accomplishing in Borneo right now.

Orangu-tans are soon going to be very much endangered. If we kids can take a step ahead to to save
them,I cannot see why grown-ups can't.

I'll be very curious to know how many people have been made aware about this great project with the
combined marketing effort of the 193 candidates.
This is great, and I'm really looking forward to see the impact of this movie, without or with me

I hope everybody will keep raising awareness about the consequences of deforestation and the impact
of plam oil culture in Borneo but also in other part of the word.
I'm proud to be part of this community and I've met some very passionate like-minded people. Thanks
to all the people involved in the deforestaction group! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please have a look at my video submission for the deforestaction Borneo 3D project, and if you think
I would make a good action hero, rate/vote for me!
I'M READY TO TAKE ACTIONS!

A bit more about me...

deforestAction is such an incredible project-- I hope that those who submitted videos (and those who
did not) still offer their support after the final ten are chosen. This is such an incredible way to
get the word out to youth about deforestation and the impact on creatures, such as the orangutan.
I hope that each of you has already gone to deforestaction.com to buy back some land in Borneo for
those darling red apes. Just by gathering change last week on my outSPOKIN' ride, I raised just over
$50. People in the Pacific Northwest are really enthusiastic about this project!

I love to be part of this movement and while I'm waiting for the results, I'm taking
(Deforest)action today...
I just signed the petition "Save Khimki Forest: Stand with Russia's Human Rights and Environmental
Activists" and wanted to see if you could help by adding your name.
http://www.change.org/petitions/save-khimki-forest-stand-with-russias-human-rights-and-environmental
-activists
In the end, we are all fighting for the same.
Thanks!

I just signed the petition to save Khimki Forest in Russia!
Anyway the deforestAction in Indonesian Borneo especially in Sintang is really an awesome project. I
could see that there are still plenty of amazing people to take care of our forest and the ecosystem
inside, included Orangutans.

In my own opinion, if we allow and continue deforestation, then in a matter of few years, the whole
world will not be in touch with nature no more. Natural reserves would be used up and unfortunately,
most of the resource we have would have gone. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Deforestation in most countries of the world can said to be deeply rooted in poverty and lack of the
government committment to conserve nature. If government of nations become responsible and more
committed to protection of wildlife, their action can make a difference --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That is really awesome!! I think that starting from now, environment education will be included in
the subjects of the students in the primary school...
Children will teach all of us how to protect the environment !
