THOMAS yes I think electrcity is actually the biggest discover yet but I also think that (dramatic silence XD) solar energy might have something so AWESOME that energy will look like something irrelevant the thing about electricity is that the way we produce it is too polluting what all the world (and for all the world I mean all the world but overall the government)should look or do something for a cheap and renewable or unlimited energy source that's what we need

I think that technologies mentioned above (electricity, mobile phones, plus radio and television) have all had a massive impact.
What's amazing, when you think about it, is that many of us are living through a real technological revolution. Have things ever changed so fast?
I guess people living during the original Industrial Revolution must also have been amazed by the speed of change.

When defining a positive invention, it's definitely important to take into consideration its mass effect on the planet and the future! Solar Energy is a huge step towards merging Science/Technology with Nature/Sustainability

I also agree with all the valid points mentioned above espesially solar power(or any form of GREEN power) and Nano tech these technologies will definitly change the world even more in the future!
For me one of the biggest changes we have experienced so far is the personal computer as this piece of tech has opened up so many opportunities for so many people and organisations and allowed so many more tech to flow out of it like the internet!!

Yep! Computers have definitley made a huge impact on the amout of forest being cleared to print books, newspapers and such. And it saves a lot of folks money on gas!

I’m surprised that nobody here has mentioned computers and internet. It has totally changed the way we live and how information and data can be shared so easily. Not to mention also with the emergence of social networks, social media, all these have totally transformed the way on how we communicate and made it easy for the people around the world to get connected. Not to mention also with things like video conferencing, online libraries, and the list goes on.
