Learning new languages not only enhances our inner soul but its a way to earn good while sitting back at home. Like if you are so interested to learn new languages you can go for Spanish /Mandarin, since these are pretty difficult but can be useful from career point of view.

I think it really depends where you live. I live in Israel, for example, so it will be most useful for me to study Arabic. Americans should probably study Spanish, atc.

Yes. Knowing the language (and definitely the culture) of clients is a big help in sales and marketing.

Think what you want to do in the future in a field of work kind of way. Look at the market demand. Then make your pick. Some of the languages are in high demand for particular branches. Lately Chinese is a very popular language and people able to speak it are sought for. By the way, Chinese grammar is fairly easy, it's the writing that is extremely difficult.
So basically: what do you want to do? Find a company that you want to work for, check what are their likes and chose from there.

I think learning a new language is a great idea. There's so many advantages to learning a new language, such as meeting new cultures and being able to communicate with them.

I would recommend German because it is a very interesting language, yet easier to learn since it is very similar to English
