Dear Media

At first, the media role was to play the watch dog in our society meaning that it was meant to be the mouth and the voice of the voiceless.
Now, it is playing a different role under the speudoname of: MONEY. Media coverage rely solely on event or incidents that can propel them enough profit margin at the end of the day. When tsunami stroke, it was present 24/7. While the health care issue was dividing American citizens, it was lightening the dry grass. Oscar Grant issues, and state workers getting paid at minimum wage were also headlines that it couldn't let go for nothing.
The question is: is this the kind of media we want in our society? if not, how could we take a collective and global action toward this backwardness of our media, our source of information that is constantly desinforming us the sake of MONEY?
