How it Works

From the perspective of EFT, excessive pain is a result of a disruption in your subtle energy system, or from unresolved negative emotions. This drug-free technique borrows from the principles of acupuncture and helps you to balance your subtle energy system ... and resolve negative emotions.

All you have to do is stimulate certain well established acupuncture points with your own fingertips -- no needles are involved. When this energy is balanced, pain tends to dissipate and disappear. The National Cancer Institute recommends that you become involved in your own pain management program. They suggest keeping track of your pain -- its location, intensity, and your emotional response to your pain.

EFT also encourages you to track your pain ... as part of a simple solution for dealing with -- even eliminating -- your pain. By tuning into your pain in this manner, you can achieve higher levels of relief by performing EFT.

If you are aware of your emotional response to the pain, you can effectively clear the anger, guilt, fear, worry and anxiety often associated with having a serious illness. You deserve to be free of this unnecessary burden. When the emotional burden is lifted, the pain tends to fade, often quickly and sometimes permanently.

You may be able to minimize your pain with just a few minutes of EFT work. Sometimes, however, collapsing intense pain requires persistence and detective work to figure out the emotional contributors to it. Other times, as with Krysti Wesley's story that follows, it requires being specific about the location of the pain.
