Love in the Media

do you ever notice how love is in the media? most of the shows concerning romance always starts with a boy and a girl and then they end up together, go through conflicts and then somehow triumphs in the end and loves each other forever...i don't think the media is diplaying the right message for people especially youth....they get the wrong idea that in reality its just like it's shown in tv...love in reality is rarely that easy and not all endings are happy.....and never think love is evrlasting either...not saying that some people aren't devoted to their love ones but not all realtionships are so called forever because there's always change in our lives....

i totally agree. the media just shows the happy endings to attract viewers so they can recieve a high rating for that show. reality is harsh on love. sure, it'll be great to have a fairytale love life similar to those romantic storylines on television, however, it doesn't and isn't that simple in reality. And the media is displaying a lie to the youth. the media and shows act love out as something that just happens and something that is just there in the world. they don't portray how important love really is. the importance of how if there were love was just simple simple, the wars in this world would not be active. love isn't simple and something that is just.......there amongst our lives. with the media using it for high rating tv shows, all meanings of love are just portrayed as: guy meets girl or girl meets guy. guy and girl fall in love. guy and girl live happily ever after. it's a total lie. love isn't a game. it's something that can affect the terrors occuring in this world. the media should just teach younger viewers to respect and have affection for each other.

hello,
I believe the media need to preach love to the people because we are in the world of variety. We have different people from different background, color, race, belief, religion, etc and for all of us to live together in peace and harmony, the media must continue to preach love continually so that the world we be a better place to live in.Though most times love in reality is not that smooth as presented by the media but at least, the message is always claer on this issue.
The world is love and love makes the world go round
