Dear All,
You are cordially invited to the sixth annual session of Model United Nations Turkey Conference, MUNTR 2010 in Antalya, organized by the Model United Nations Association in Turkey (MBMD) between 1- 5 March 2010.
Among the aims of the Model United Nations Association in Turkey, the promotion of the MUN tradition ranks itself in the upper levels. We believe that MUN is a suitable and effective tool to achieve a world based on understanding, using the power of cultural exchange through international dialogue. In order to reach our goal, the MUNTR Platform has finally institutionalized itself under the formation of an association in the autumn of 2008. In the light of the United Nations principals, our entity has provided an environment for a vast number of participants to exchange their political and cultural ideas under simulated bodies of the United Nations for the past six years. As a result of this devotion, MUNTR 2009 İzmir, has summoned together more than 500 participants coming from different high schools and universities around the world; gaining the title of the most comprehensive MUN conference organized in Turkey and in the neighboring countries.
This year, our aim is to take MUNTR up to yet another level where a new vision of academic and organizational structure will be introduced to our participants. Join us this year between the dates 1-5 March 2010 in Antalya to;
- Experience heated debates on the most up-to-date topics under 5 General Assembly Committees, the Security Council and 3 Special Committees,
-Establish everlasting friendships with people coming from various cultures and countries,
-See the world from the eyes of a diplomat while getting surrounded with luxury,
-Have a chance to enjoy the meticulously designed entertainment organizations of MUNTR and,
-Experience the famous Turkish hospitality in the Mediterranean.

Will all the People be there to participate? Will you hear all their Voices? Will they be "Surrounded by Luxury". I believe in the Intentions of the UN ! I believe more in the U.P. United People or even the P.U., LOL as you may say the "Pueblo Unido".
The UN must get more of the people involved at the cost of the UN. They are the fund collectors. But do these "Conventions" turn into a "Lavish" Party just for the chosen few appointed. And by whom?
