Women's Ski Jump at Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games

The 2010 Olympic Winter Games may see the absence of the women’s ski jumping team. That is due to the fact that in 2006 the International Olympic Committee voted to not include women’s ski jumping at the 2010 Games because the sport was considered to be not developed enough at the time. The team is still fighting to have the sport included in the upcoming games, and have recently sought to take their case to the Supreme Court of Canada. This case touches on many issues including women’s rights, equality, international law, and sovereignty. What are your thoughts on the issue?

I was reading this article and it was talking about the number and events and why some were included and some not.
I forget why they chose to do this and for the life of me I can not find the damn article. I know its on this one site I normally read but argh.... I dont' see it anymore. If someone finds the one let me know.
