Comparative History

Comparative History -- could be very interesting & provoking. Basically, you put major world events on a timeline... especially conflicts etc... each event is like a blog, where all members can contribute their views & images on that event from their cultural background/perspective. This way you could see Vietnamese perspectives on Vietnam, along with American perspectives. Perhaps you could have a toggle "View Entries by People in X Region"... something like that. I think it would be very cool. The fall of the Berlin Wall, Hiroshima, etc. A good way to be global / take history global.

That would actually be a really good idea.
I would be interested to test out a forum like this to see where it goes. Although, for your idea to be really effective, I think we need more participation in discussions.. but that's another task all together
