Hi, I just wanted to say as a young person we had left Canada for Europe where I started school
then we moved to the US where I first saw Holloween, it was the most marvolous Holiday I had ever seen
PEOPLE GAVE OUT CANDY!!!
But now as a Grandmother I am glad to see the partys are a much safer way to go.
But in my Travels, it was in Mexico I learned it actuly ment something to people
I do not know the origins of the holliday but it was clear that in Mexico it was to speak to those loved ones that had passed
I found it a very endering Holiday
Better then the candy I came to love
But I still enjoy seeing all the costumes, and the imagination at work
people enjoying and creating

Halloween is something that our family look forward to every year. From the costume selection to decorating the house to counting the candies we have collected, everything just spells F-U-N.
The origin of Halloween is definitely far from how it is celebrated today. And if you ask the children, Halloween is all about the candies...
