I think the site for bigenners is fine. You don´t have much troubles with your profile and signing in.....But I belive in countries like colombia it could be a site only for the elite and very few will have access to it and the info that is there to be use for everyone....I think it will be nice if we have a program to promote TIG in the public schools and universities with workshops and so on.......
why not a tv advertisement

We actually do a fair amount of advertising in Canada, but it is hard for us to make ads internationally.

TV ads are even more difficult because of the cost involved. In order to promote at schools, we need a person living in the community to do so.

Taking a look at your country site (http://http://colombia.takingitglobal.org/home.html) I see there are 63 members from Colombia. If you want more information on how you can promote TIG locally, you can go the the TakingITLocal site (http://local.takingitglobal.org/)
