TIG discussion - then and now

I used to participate in TIG discussions and debates with a passion back in 2003/2004. However, there is a great lack of energy and huge moderator control of TIG forums as it seems than it was never before. Wonder how this would affect the TIG forum existence..

Udara my friend, It seems that there is an insidious attempt to subvert, and control free speech and thought by flooding the internet with an overwhelming amount of trivial dumbed down information. If we all stay focused on what is important in this life, and try to change the system thru whatever means necessary, we can sidestep those who want to use weapons of misdirection to cloud our vision. We can restore TIG to it's former self. TIG is an important tool to get the truth out. We must not allow TIG to be hijacked by triviality and immaturity. Thank you for pointing this fact out to us.

That is true. You have to protect it as as much as you value it. Sometimes things happen because you allow them to happen.

I am glad to see others are interested in this idea.
