Film and Digital Arts Festival – Monday 16th November
Join us at the iconic Loop Bar at 7pm on Monday 16th November to check out a selection of short films made for, by and with community organisations and the people they work with.
In most cases those involved will be on hand to talk briefly about the films and the film-making process. With plenty of time for drinks and nibbles you’ll also have a chance to chat more with the people behind these exciting projects.
The line-up is still being finalised, but will include (among others):
* Digital stories from disadvantaged young people, seniors and people living with HIV
* A hip-hop music video to educate at-risk CALD young people about hepatitis C made by members of the target group
* An interactive health promotion DVD aimed at young indigenous people in remote communities, where the viewer makes choices and sees the consequences
More information will be available when the content is finalised. But book now to secure your spot before it sells out. Just $25 includes the films, nibbles, and a few drinks.
