Social Media May Cause Unemployment

If you are fortunate enough to have a job right now, make sure you use social media responsibly. You might find yourself in the unemployment line -- all because you used Twitter, Facebook or some other form of social media to inform your "friends" how much you hate your job. On the flip side, if you're applying for a job, be careful what you post on your favorite social media sites. Someone could be watching.
In this economy, there is always someone out there ready to fill your desk space. Now that more companies are using social media for a variety of reasons, they might just see your on line griping as a great reason to let you go.

You are right. Here in the UK there has been several cases where people have moaning about their work and their boss had seen it and they have lost their job.

yes it is very essential that you do not bad mouth your current job and also your past ones. 100% chances are that your boss is monitoring you.

Some companies are also making a habit of "Googling" the employee as part of the selection process. Be careful of what you put out on the web. Remember that a bad picture or even a bad choice of words could cost you your job.

I find that this is a Very intersting topic, as Jobs are hard to come by
and those who have them, are on pins and needles to keep them
With all the Recourse are our fingertips
we now see that they can be used against us, it we complain on the net.
THis is Very, Interesting
Does anyone monitor, those
Tree Huggers,(being one)
who is not done protesting yet!
Wonders, is there a way to turn this around.
I mean, financlay,
Because if everyone is to busy trying to keep their head down, to keep their jobs, it is hard to be affective in your government. ETC
Looks like we need New Busness
that can be used to hire, all those who would like a job, that was worth, good words, and not criddism.
But what kind of Jobs can be Dreamed Up?
Because if anyone joined in a discsion of makeing their own busness and money
that too would probley get them fired
To a Healthy Future
Love
E

This is just another thing to show that, in the developed world, you are under constant surveillance.
Your life has ceased to be your own as the State and big business keep tabs on you.
Once upon a time, a driving license was just a paper document that said you had reached the required level to drive a car, now it is used to prove who you are.
It will soon become the case that if you don't have a driving license or a passport, you become a non-person. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jo Devizes knows a womens website that is rather good.

I don't know about you but i'm getting tired of social media - and I work in this area! The banality of it all - opinions without thought or analysis. People silly enough to say indiscret things online deserve the consequences. With social media comes responsibility, just because its free doesn't mean its risk free.
Talk to someone today - lets get back to that! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Larry

Now I am haveing a good chuckle
I have no Drivers license or Passport any more.
Does this make me a NONperson?
But I have joined the net world, so
my freedom is still being watched I would think!!
What is it they are watching for??
People who speak out I would think!
We live in very Unique times!
But no different, they any other monoply that has taken over!
Paranoia, runs rampant at those who are out to take what is not theres to have
Big Brother, was an excellent story
seems no so far in the Future any more
Hope Soilet Green does not come to pass!
Where they melted down people, and feed them back to those others for food stuffs!
Just a Thought!
To a Healthy Future
Love'
