peace is a state when there is no war isn't it.
there isn't anything like real peace. because we're all human and we fight with each other. there are a zillion ways humans can think of being agitated wihtout having to be subjected to armed conflict.

Peace in its true sense is the natural outcome of mental stability based on quality and positive perspective of life’s challenges, situations and circumstances. This implies peace is a state of mind tranquility amidst external challenges based on correct understanding. This definition is different from the previous definition in that it attacks the “tree from the roots” it approaches the peace issue from a reactive dimension to pro-active one. A major war can be solved still as a grievance. Hostility can be arrested still as intentions in the human mind. Most times, grievances and plans towards hostilities are allowed until they escalate into major warfare before peace efforts are made.

When we come to a concensus on what we understand as peace. we will then be able to address the social upheavals plaguing humanity in the name of comflicts.

To understand peace, violence need not be brought into picture.
Peace is the tranquil state in which one is lost in Real Love. Thats all I know.

Possibly true peace means different things to different people, depending on their circumstances.
Universal peace could be that Nation can live next door to Nation without wanting to build on their land or steal their water.
Once that is in place, a people must be able to go about their lives without the interference of their government.
Finally, and this is the stumbling block, a person must be able to live their life without the fear of being robbed or hurt by others. That is well nigh impossible. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jo Devizes knows a womens website that is rather good.

Peace is the absence of war, oppression, cruelty and fear.
