They say God empties our hands coz HE wants to fill it with other good things. But what if I am happy and satisfied with what I already have?

one thing you should know is that no body is self sufficient in the world today.
Even the so called developed countries continue surpressing the smaller nations for their important resources.
additionally, there is nothing that can last forever as we have seen people with reaches and today they are among the poorest of the poorest. there were nations before considered as supper powers but today they are the lesser powers bowing to other nations.
Above it all, god has control over the entire universe and it is out of that power he created you and myself.
so what is the point you are trying to make?

The point here is some people say that life is all about satisfying yourself with what you have and people who are not satisfied work hard and get what they want and when they get what they want God takes it away. People then say that He took it away coz He wanted to give you something better. But I already had what I wanted, I worked hard to get it.

The art is dead when the artist starts thinking that /her/his creation is complete and perfect. He goes through the creation again and finds that his art is incomplete and starts improving it.
We have got conscience and conviction and have got few innate responsibilities which ask for an action. We can't claim that we are satisfied with what we have got. We have to think again.
Satisfaction is good, there is no doubt about it, however, satisfaction must not stop the process of learning and once you start learning the hunger to learn and explore comes into picture and then you start sketching new boundaries of satisfaction.
