BOKO HARAM

MAIDUGURI, Nigeria – Nigerian authorities ignored dozens of warnings about a violent Islamist sect until it attacked police stations and government buildings last week in a bloodbath that killed more than 700 people, Muslim clerics and an army official said.
More than 50 Muslim leaders repeatedly called Nigeria's police, local authorities and state security to urge them to take action against Boko Haram sect militants but their pleas were ignored, Imam Ibrahim Ahmed Abdullahi said.

This issue is very pathetic and unfortunate in the sense that a youth in the 21st century could be so misguided as a result of religious belief. He is not doing this alone, but recruiting other youths who if properly guided could be instruments of development and progress in Nigeria.
This is a big slap on the faces of our Northern elites. This is because western education is not fully embraced in this region. It is time for youths in this region to liberalise themselves from this religious bondage. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anietie M. Well Boko Haram it just another form of talibalism thats trying to come into Nigeria, which the Government of Nigeria should try as much as she can to put an end to it. but the problem with this Boko Haram is that they fail to understand that for any human blood you waste, you must surely give an account of it, it goes to every body too. they should Remember that God that created them is still the same God that created the other person.
