Vice President Paramananda Jha on Wednesday said the Supreme Court (SC) has made wrong decision by ruling his oath-taking unconstitutional.
“It is true that I took the oath of office in Hindi, but it is also a fact that I have signed and witnessed the oath papers written in Nepali,” he said organising a press meet at his office in Bahadur Bhawan in the capital. He argued that since the prevailing Nepali law acknowledges writing more than spoken form, his oath-taking was constitutional.
He added he will not accept the SC ruling to take the oath of office and secrecy again in Nepali language under pressure.
However, he mentioned that he is ready to take the oath again and again for the general public if they wish to.
Well, seems dillema for nepalese.. Our Vice president does not wish to obey the order of Supreme Court.. Is it right or Right? ..
What do Our members think about our VP.
Thumbs up or down?
