Under-representation of female child labourers?
Jul 23, 2009

Child Labour is a horrible thing.
Little if not a well-known fact.

Recently, I was scanning the net for stories, case studies, and narratives about female child labourers for an article that Im writing regarding the same topic.

I found zilch, zero, nothing.sad

But I did end up finding various case studies done on the success stories of male child labourers. confused

Do you think this is an intended bias? Are female child labourers really under-represented in the media as they appear?
