Global Environmental Issues: How To Take Action
Jul 16, 2009
|

Global waste and environmental degradation are one of the most important “global issues” today.
Recycling in our own homes and workplaces to reduce waste is just one way to help. It is also an
example of “thinking globally, acting locally,” but how can we really help preserve our earth?

the problem about environmental protection is long been talked about without much results around the
world.
it is actually interesting to learn that while the likes of us are striving for some solutions,
others are busy manufacturing thing that are capable of distorying the environment seriously.
therefore, i am everyday getting worried about this negative development especially for the African
continent where they sometimes use as domping grounds for some of these harmful materials and
chemicals.
Another common excuse used this days by the so-called manufacturers is that they too claim
contributing to poverty reduction by producing substandard and cheap items which maybe
environmentally negative. so where are we actually heading or why are mankind so cruel and selfish
to each other? anyeay, we need to wake up and act strongly with all seriousness in weeding out these
revels.

Toxic waste is like a disgusting game of roulette. There are ships chugging around the world loaded
with the stuff looking for somewhere to dump it. The peoples of the different countries sometimes
get wind of what is going on and object. Here in the UK they found out that France, I think, or
maybe the USA, were sending some war ships to be de-commissioned here. They raised objections and
the ships were turned around. Britain was found out sending waste to Brazil in Containers and so it
goes on. The most worrying things are the ones we don't here about. They are the ones that will kill
us. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once we start thinking about environmental hazards, we tend to focus on the youths and elderly
people. We first have to educate the housewives and parents how and what to use which can be
recycled.
We have to request the parents and make them educate their children not to use the bio hazardous
materials.
The schools and media can play a major role in saving the environment as these are the tools which
very often convey the message to the society as a whole.
The government of the nations must make the media and schools, colleges to increase the awareness
amongst the people.
We will start receiving a response when our children will start asking the questions about polution
and remedial measures.

I think that between nasty UK companies who are dumping in Africa and the Mafia sinking ships full
of nuclear waste in the Med, the problem has been solved. Not. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think educating people on environment problems and the importance of conserving our environment
will help in protecting our environment. A large percentage of schools do not in cooperate
environmental education into their curriculum.A large percentage of colleges and universities have
environmental education programs that are only limited to those studying it as their career path.
Environmental problems affect everyone and cut across major sectors such as agriculture, energy
sector among others.
Education is the key!

I think the issues are that we need to re-understand what we are thinking
It is time to let our minds open to all the new clean Tech, that can be Dreamed up to be used
The power the world holds in Sun, wind and even Rain, makes me sad they are not being used to their
full attvantage
They are Free
Clean power is
That is why Dark Power has its hold over the Great Ideas they do not want people to know how simple
it would be to refit our homes and Buildings to be indepent of Power Comp
But then how could the Comp make all that money and fight all those wars
it everyone could tape the Great Divine
Gift to Humans Free Energy by the Sun the Wind the Rain
it is not Just a Dream
it is a way of thinking
and of seeing the Living Planet in Danger
The LEGEND OF HERO'S

Unfortunately we seem to live in a time where many people confuse what you have with who you are.
Whilst feeling good about putting every piece of paper and cardboard into the recycling bin, many
seem to forget that it was the buying of that new whatever that caused the cardboard box and paper
invoice to be produced. If only everything we need could be borrowed and what we already have could
be lent to someone else, then we would be a long way towards reducing the waste that is currently
being produced. We could borrow rather than buy anything from books to tools to baby equipment. A
great place to do this easily : [link="http://www.wishnfish.com"]
