Is passion the key to success?

It said that passion is the key to success. But sometimes work accomplished under pressure from your seniors also leads one to success. Do you think just passion is sufficient for achieving success, or is there necessity of some kind of pressure together with passion to make one a success?

Ofcourse, passion is one great thing to success for every human being or any thing else it for success.
this is so because, whenever one is passionate about something, he/she will always pursue it right to the end so as to see its success. but if one lack passion then that individual/persons will never care for success and so the individual/persons will grow disinterested in the whole show.

i would say it is one of the keys because people achieve success through different sources some might be pressure or luck.

I think that a certain amount of passion is always necessary to complete a task successfully. Personally, the in the work I do (be it volunteer or paid) I tend to work better on things I am passionate about. For me, my biggest passion is Africa - so I will always work hardest on something that will create a stronger African continent.
Accompanying passion, however, one must also have drive, among other things. Pressure can help to create drive but if there is too much pressure it could work in an opposite way. For example, if your employer is constantly pressuring an employee to get something done, a lot of stress can be created and it might not be the employees best work.
All must be equal.

Passion alone is the key to TRUE success. If you are doing somthing even partially under pressure or obligation, a part of that success is not yours, no matter how passionate you may be about what you have accomplished.

Inspiration is the key to success not passion!

Inspiration is the key to success. Because, it defines the goal for us, it creates the positive stress needed to keep us going to reach the goal and of all, it focusses our passion towards our goal.
Ana is inspired to help the Africans. Dalai Lama is inspired to free Tibet from China. Clinton was inspired to free the jailed journalists in North Korea. The list can go on...
History gives evidence to my statement. Napolean was inspired to unite Europe and could be successful in almost all the battles he fought except the fateful one. Though he could n't succeed in his lifetime, his ideas inspired modern Europeans towards the European Union.
So, Inspired you succeed, sooner or later! But,succeed, you will!

passion, knowledge and perseverance.
True success is not attributed to passion alone. Finding something that you are passionate in is only the starting point. This is followed by accumulating knowledge from experience and from learning from others around you. Finally having the will and the perseverance to finish the goals you set out to accomplish is important to achieve success. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When the going gets tough, the tough get going -Billy Oceans
