Right now many of the South American countries are talking about making drugs legal which is probably the best way to defeat the drugs gangs. Drugs would be sold by government run shops which could control the purity, which is one of the biggest causes of drug death, and would be able to give advice on how to kick the habit.

What do you think about casual drug use? Do you think it is the same thing as substance abuse?

Hi dear buddy, I think that no drug is taken without doctor's prescription because it is dangerous one thing to take any drug with own will without knowing it's mod of action and salt inside it.....

I think that casual drug abuse and substance abuse aren't the same thing, but they are very close. Substance abuse is usually the abuse of drugs prescribed by doctors for certain illnesses or pain. Casual drug abuse is the use of illegal drugs in an attempt to get high. You could get high off of both, but substances and casual drugs are different.

Substance abuse helped with the lowering of the age to buy and consume alcohol??
Feb 22, 2015

Although a powerful and dangerous drug, this substance, like many others, should be made available to those 18 years old. The responsibility we put in our young adults at the age of 18 should include a small drink. The banning of alcohol promotes many other things that are far more dangerous and detrimental to our health. Driving our young people away from alcohol will lead them to something else. If they are unable to drink responsibly teens will do many other irresponsible things that are harmful to their lives, including hard drugs, which can eventually lead them into a downward spiral. Perhaps by banning alcohol we are actually increasing the dangers of it.
