Well Otis, if you guys wore condoms and stopped trying to have sex without because 'oh I loose all the feeling with one of those on' then there would be a lot less abortions and less STDs.
While it is us girls who have to carry the thing for 9 months and put up with morning sickness and hormone change, not to mention having to go through the pain and danger of child birth then it is up to us whether we have an abortion or not.
It really makes me mad to see the men pontificating over this issue when it is they who could stop conceiving in the first place.

there is a point i would like readers to understand. that point still remains. the fact that you're alive today is because though your mother was faced with an option of throwing you out of her womb. but your passionate mother held you tight. she called you her baby, wondered if you're going to be a boy or girl and chose to call you Liamjod when you're born. The bone of contention is "When do life actually begin?" When you look at the development of a child who we call an embryo in the womb, we discover that after the egg of the womb is fertilised, 23 cells from the father and 23 from the mother joins to be one cell which is the developing baby. as long as the baby is formed, everything about that baby has been formed. no other thing is needed by the baby except water, food and oxygen to grow, which is usually provided for by the mother. There is no any time whether the baby is a day old or nine months old that it should be called an embryo. Even if you were raped, who committed the sin? Your own baby or his/her father. who deserve death the baby or the father. it is not just a matter of living to responsibilities of our action, but doing what is right and fair. the fact that the baby is in the womb does not mean that he does not recognise his mother's voice. you were given a chance to live, give that baby his own chance.

It is your right to have sex because it has to do with your own body. it can't be taken away from you. But take note. It is not your right to abort because abortion has to do with the termination of another life.

"viability!" This is often used when children who should have the right to live just as we have lived are not given that opportunity. What do we mean by viability? We can say a child is viable when he can live outside the womb of a mother or when it can live independent of his mother. what about an old man or woman who can no longer have his meal by himself, can no longer go to the toilet all by himself, can not do anything again by himself, do we say he is not viable to live independent on himself and decide to take his life away? A supreme court has given there verdict based on human philosophies. We are not talking like religionists right now, but like moralists who wants to do what is right. Life begins at conception therefore if we call infanticides murder, then abortion should also be considered as one.

No, no, let's not play this blame game, Jode (realli hope u don't mind me calling you that). Sorry if my argument seemed targeted as saying females are the only side that was irresponsible. It takes two to make a child, and the response of the male involved affects the females decision alot. But none the less the argument still stands, if your not ready for the consequences of your actions, then don't do it. (Both makes and females).
