'PANI BA' (THE WATER MAN) BALARAM KARKI, NEPAL “I feel donating drinking water is better than blood donation and eyedonation. Therefore, I started to distribute water free of cost",Balaram Karki of Koteshwor, Nepal, known locally as 'Pani Ba' – the waterman. A former 'Bhattasahu’ or brick-kiln owner, the elderly Balaram and his wife Mithu Karki have been distributing drinking water to their neighbours free of cost from their private dug-well. Over 100 families from Tridevinagar, Suryakot, Narephant and Jadibuti get water free-of-charge from their dug-well.

On a brighter look on issues, Blood donation counts more than water donation.
Water can be found everywhere but blood is an exception of such.
considering the fact that by donating blood you are saving a life which will really be greatly appreciated.
I am not saying donating clean portable water is bad but more could still be done if you extend your heart of kindness towards donating blood too.
June15 was set aside to remember those who donate blood.
cheers.

I guess both blood and water are important. But water more so because without it not many things function, no hospitals, not even blood donation centers. Blood is important, but in a completely different way.

Definitely the best way to help people about by charity. You are giving them things that they need, and therefore will have to use.
