Peace- what is it? how do we achieve it?

They are so many views on what peace is, and how we can achieve it.
I want to know
What do you think peace is?
How can we achieve peace?
Are we even ready for peace?
Can we actually achieve peace?
Peace is such a good thing, isnt it? So then why do people become so violent and selfish instead of trying to get along and comprimise with eachother.?

For me, peace is like my entire life because i have experienced what its means to be without peace.
Without peace, there could be no development any where.
Therefore, peace means alot to me and it is my desire to see peace been obtain globally.
In achieving peace, we all should start showing solidarity for each and everyone regardless of our nationalities.
We should also stop fueling conflicts around the world just for our personal goals or interests.

What do you think peace is?
the word that no body can understand!
How can we achieve peace?
Respect.. stop making and developing more guns and increase the number of soldiers and armies in the world!
and the most important! believe in peace!
Are we even ready for peace?
you never know when you are ready unless you start the race
start to apply peace and then we will know if we are ready or not

thats hard question.. because it's to get deep into people's minds and understand their thoughts.. but mostly to control.. greedy and ego
i've never lived in peace.. and i know how is it when you don't have peace.. when you being treated in violent.. when the only solution is more riot... as they say.. to reach the highest point of rage to reach calmness
compromise Policy
to sell what you have .. to satisfy the other.. and the others sell what they have... to satisfy you! ... and around them is the winner!
we have been asking since 60 years for peace.. compromise.. piece of land in Palestine
till it reaches a point that there is no peace!
because also to define peace is easy as saying the word!
