Can Peace be achieved?
May 6, 2009 - 08:55 PM

Hey

I was wondering what other people concidered peace to be, as well as whether or not it can be achieved. i mean, there are so many disputed problems and issues in the world that dont have one straight answer, so how could we possibly have peace? how can we make everyone happy? (dont get me wrong, i still want to do as much as i can to make the world a better place, this just interests me).

I hear ya, tough question to ponder. However, are you happy everyday of your life? I know I'm not, nor do I like everyone that I encounter..but I tolerate them and move on.
I don't think everyone can be "happy" all of the time, however humans should be able to be peaceful towards each other. Should being the key word.

Unfortunately I believe there will always be people who are hateful, spiteful and violent. So although I don't believe the world will be entirely peaceful I do know that we can try to protect the innocent and punish the guilty with hopes for a more pleasant existence.
Great question!!
