[Poll] My educational/lifestyle green-in-all-way business project - feedback needed

>>>First I want to introduce below my response to the question in the application form - "What does an ideal day in your life at school look and feel like?":
A day at school should always start with science or literature class, however, on the other hand, should not end with a lecture about ethics or humanity, but about sustainability and efficiency - why and how to include resource-efficiency in everyday decision, pursue a sustainable career and lead an optimized lifestyle. Because, upon learning about such subjects, students would eventually realize themselves how and why to live and do business with conduct and treat people respectfully - what ethics or humanity teachers can't possibly convey - as the only way to pursue sustainability and efficiency.
As an ardent advocate of the green movement and Obama's "Green New Deal," I want to see not only university's but also K-12 curriculum be changed to meet the new need of providing the new generation with accurate and sufficient information about global issues as well as latest technology and solutions that human has come up with to resolve. In the recent 6 months, I have been developing the concept of a project called eHub. The eHub is a chain of lifestyle/education centers built in communities of high schools and universities to add exposure to and interaction with green (sustainable) practices and green technology to school agenda; and to coordinate schools' laboratories for learning and research activities. Such a place would be the vehicle for my ideal school day in the context of current reality - the whole human kind is facing economic and sustainable problems, threatening our grandchildren's quality of life and our descendent's existence.
A day at school would be like this: before going to school, you would stop by eHub to have a cup of tea or coffee to be energized to attend the first class at 7AM. At noon, after the morning session of science classes, you and friends would flock into eHub to have a cup of calming decaf, then have a good nap. After that, you can check current contest, or upcoming competition, workshop, seminar to be held at eHub, then head back to school for the afternoon session where laboratories are opened for free use and professionals are available to assist students' project-based learning, utilizing basic science knowledge taught in the morning. After school, students can gather at eHub to continue their research at a specially designed study-booth-based think-tank with peers from local schools. At night, selective students headed by eHub staff would engage in for-profit activities and projects which also contribute to the green movement and serve as preparation internship for future so-called "green-collar" jobs.
My project idea of redesigning school schedule and curriculum dedicates to fill the information gap within the new generation of students so mature they will be capable to realize themselves global issues and bring about changes by voluntarily tackling them head-on or contributing to a healthy global economy without destroying the environment.

Your idea of an e-Hub is very interesting. I like the idea of having a central education area (hub) where students from school or university can gather to socialize or to share ideas and whatnot. Obviously it would need to be situated relatively close to secondary schools and universities. However, most universities cater for thousands of students, as with most schools. That would mean that the building would have to be huge. As for the changing of cirriculum, that would require quite significant change and isn't likely to occur anytime soon.
What do you think about having each school create their own hub including study areas, a cafe etc where students could do all of the things you talk about however just within a school setting?

Hi Shep, thanks for your critique,
If you spent time to read carefully my full paper, you would find that the target group of my project is only high school students because high school is one of the most critical turning points in one‟s learning life where one decides which field of study to opt in. On the other, university students act as complement/catalyst of the learning of high school students. Secondary school students are still not mature enough to stand up for this challenge of knowledge and attitude change.
Besides, I know that most universities have their own facilities to cater for research activities and group learning. But the focus of eHub is different - it's about the GREEN knowledge (environmentalism, clean technology, resource-efficiency business methodologies, etc.). Herein, students are exposed to implications of the right knowledge and professionals of the right field, so that they can use their own universities' facilities for research after absorbing the spirit here. That's why I call for a coordination between schools' facilities but with eHub playing the central role.
Everything is described in my full paper at http://www.mediafire.com/?m3zn20y5fju or you can go through it quickly with my presentation slideshow http://www.slideshare.net/mastertek/first-draft-of-presentation-slideshow-for-ehub-project-paper
