Documentary on African Desertification

The Documentary film of Rick Lomba made in 1989 called The End of Eden is now on Youtube.com. It documents the increasing desertification of Africa due to inappropriate cattle breeding and agriculture.
It follows the downward cycle of dying rivers, eroding grasslands and so on.
Desertification is described as Africas number 1 problem. Now 20 years old, there is no indication that the situation has changed.

Amazing to see this movie coming up once more. Saw it in South Africa years ago and always wondered why it was not better known.
