I want technology to help me to clarify the materials in the content. For example, when I studied science and there are experiments of scientists which explains the contents so it is compulsory to understand the experiment. But, some of these experiments are hard to prepare so technology can help by preparing the experiment for the student. Then the students can do the experiment and understand by themselves.

I say YES! to this question... I am very much into studying anything under the sun. I dont focus solely in my field, and aside from that I dont usually stay in one place like my house or a library or a park most of a time. So I need portable gadgets to suffice my needs for reading and learning while I'm in other places.

There are a few classes that use ICT more often than the others.
First would be the subject ICT itself. The name of the subject is enough to describe it.
Next would be chemistry.Usually before we conduct an experiment, we watch a simulation on how its done to better understand it before performing it ourselves.
We also use it in our maths class. Basically we use a software developed by the education ministry to do exercises and all.
The other subjects use them too, but not as often as the ones mentioned above.
I really love the idea of software like this to help me with my study. I have always found math a difficult subject. I would never quite 'get it'. Because of this dificulty it has influenced me to change my career aspirations. I orginally wanted to go to complete a BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies), but achiveing math in highschool was a requirement for entry. Had I had access this kind of software however I may still be studying math. So I must say I am very jelous of Shobana

Way back in high school, we use a lot of softwares for math subjects especially Calculus and Trigonometry... but the only software that I can still remember is the Geometer's sketchpad.

Yes I use technology for my study often. Whilst using the resources easily available to you (eg textbook) you can gain an understanding it is much more beneficial to use internet or software to provide a thorough or deeper understanding of the concepts involved.

We sure need help from technology (softwares, laboratories) to accelerate our learning.
I remember many times I had to work on complicated projects or business cases and there were just nothing related to my research on the internet. At those times, I have always been wishing for a laboratories with super computers where I can run multiple simulators and searching engines.
