Controversy over this War on Iraq
September 18, 2003 - 08:04 AM

While reading MyMSN, the following article really ticked me off:
http://www.msnbc.com/news/870749.asp?vts=091820031614

I am about to say the following as an American:

My question is: DOES BUSH NOT FREAKING GET IT?! Why is he pouring money -- OUR MONEY -- down the drains over a place where we are NOT welcomed? Why is he wasting the lives of our people over this FREAKING USELESS cause? Does he even take into consideration the feelings of those who lost their loved ones? What evidence does he have that Iraq has these so-called "weapons of mass destruction?" Remember the Monroe Doctrine? That was to prevent that from happening the Americas. The Eastern countries complied with it, but what does he do? Turn around and start being an imperialist! Has he even read any US History, especially in the Vietnam War? This is just like it, only worse... I feel like the "weapon of mass destruction" is Bush himself, since he is destroying the lives of many over there...

I support the troops, but I do not support Bush... I want to vote that idiot out of office right now!

For those of you in Iraq or other countries that we are trying to take over, I have my sympathy on your side. This should NOT be happening and I acknowledge the fact that you all should be left alone.

If we don't stay in Iraq and continue to fight to keep a better government then they are going to turn out just like Afghanistan. We helped Afghanistan fight Russia by training them and then left. After that Al-Qaeda and the Taliban took over the government. That is why Bush is keeping our troops in Iraq.

This is somewhat interesting:

People are not only marching on the streets for demonstrations, they are starting to "chase" Bush ...
